As part of the Postgraduate Business Programme management team, my responsibilities include teaching, modules leadership and to provide support in effective academic resource management, external engagement, employability & enterprise at the University of Sunderland in London.
I have more than 15 years of experience in teaching, developing and leading academic, professional and executive education programmes in Business Management and held many senior academic roles in for-profit sector Higher Education Institutes before joining the University. I have previously worked in commercial organisations at senior level and now train & advice entrepreneurs & established businesses.
I have been invited as a guest speaker and participated in many higher educations and business management related international conferences and delivered training to various organisations including delegates from European Union Agencies. I am also a reviewer for the International Journal of Higher Education Management & the Journal of Business & Retail Management Research.
I hold two Master degrees in Business Management, a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education and a fellowship of the Higher Education Academy. I hold and have hold professional memberships of Chartered Institute of Marketing, Academic of Management, Academy of International Business & the Institute for Small Business & Entrepreneurship.
