If you're a UK/EU student applying for a full-time undergraduate degree, you apply via the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS).
If you are a UK/EU student, you can apply for up to five full-time university courses through the UCAS website, either through your school or college which is already registered with UCAS, or independently if you do not belong to a UK school or college.
Apply for a course at the University of Sunderland using our institution code S84 and the UCAS code which you can find on the course search.
When you complete your application, you will need to pay a fee to UCAS. Currently this fee is £12 if you apply for one course at the University of Sunderland, or £23 if you wish to apply for more than one course or institution.
What happens next
When UCAS sends us a copy of your application, we consider whether to offer you a place based on your qualifications, personal statement and referee's report. UCAS will let you know what we have decided.
As soon as individual courses become full, we will close them and no further applications for those courses will be accepted.
If you are given a conditional offer from us, and your results meet the conditions of the offer, you will receive a letter confirming your place.
If you have any questions about applying through UCAS, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org / 020 7531 7333.
