Lecturer (Postgraduate Business)

I am a lecturer in postgraduate business at the University of Sunderland in London. My academic background is in the economic effects of petroleum and accounting.  My teaching includes financial accounting, finance management accounting and financial management for undergraduate and postgraduate levels and I am accepting PhD students.

My research interests are in:

- Sustainable cost control in the extraction industry
- Petroleum contracts
- Policy implementation in the energy sector
I am an upstream investment specialist and analyst in the energy industry. My specific focus is the oil and gas sector.
I have an interest in sustainability issues concerning energy investment portfolio management.
Additionally, I have expertise in operating cost control and management of natural resources.
I hold a PhD in “A critical evaluation of operation cost drivers of oil and gas plays: A retrospective assessment of the economic viability of the Gulf of Guinea and the UK North Sea.

Before completing my doctorate, I graduated with an MSc in Management and both a BSc and Higher National Diploma in Accounting.

In addition to my academic achievements, I hold a certificate in international oil and gas law and negotiation.
