Graduate Route Visa

Launching on 1st July 2021, the Graduate Route visa is a new work visa route for graduates who have a degree or other relevant qualification from an approved UK Higher Education provider like the University of Sunderland in London. Similar to the old Tier 1 Post-Study Work route that ended in 2021, it lasts for two years for most successful applicants and three years for PhD graduates.

Everything published on these pages reflects the information released so far by the Home Office. All Graduate Route visa information is subject to change until the official Appendix Graduate immigration rules are published. It's likely the official immigration rules and guidance will be published when the Graduate Route officially starts.
