SCHOLARSHIPS AND DISCOUNTS 2018/19 - AUTOMATICALLY AWARDED SCHOLARSHIPS AND DISCOUNTS

You don't need to apply for these scholarships - if you're eligible you'll receive them automatically.

ALUMNI LOYALTY SCHEME

What it is:

£1,000 tuition fee discount as an incentive to study a full-time postgraduate course. Students opting to study an MBA course will receive a £1,500 tuition fee discount.

 Who it’s for: 

Alumni (graduates of the University) who enrol in a full-time, masters-level postgraduate course at the University of Sunderland in London.

INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP

What it is:

£1,500 tuition fee discount

Who it's for:

All international students studying undergraduate and postgraduate courses in 2018/9.

PROMPT PAYMENT FEE DISCOUNT

What it is:
£1000 discount (£650 discount for MBA Top-Up) for early payment of tuition fees. 

Who it’s for: 
All international postgraduate students joining the University of Sunderland in London in 2018/9 who pay 100% tuition fee before CAS.

WELCOME SCHOLARSHIP

What it is:
£2,000: The first £1000 instalment will be paid after the successful submission of your first term assessments. The second £1000 instalment will be paid 5 weeks after the successful progression and enrolment onto the next level of your programme.

Who it’s for: 
Full-time home students on undergraduate extended programmes, BA (Hons) Business and Management Extended, BSc (Hons) International Tourism and Hospitality Management Extended and BA (Hons) Events Management Extended, starting in 2018/9 at the University of Sunderland in London.

WE CARE SCHOLARSHIP

What it is:
£1,500 a year cash (up to £6,000)
Who it’s for: Students with 'care leaver' status

SENIOR SCHOLARSHIP 2019/20 AND 2020/21 

What it is:
The Senior Scholarship awards students a full tuition fee waiver for the first year of their postgraduate programme at the University of Sunderland in London (UoSiL).
The scholarships aim is to lessen the financial burden for students who are not eligible to claim to funding from Student Finance England which will allow them to concentrate on their studies and fully engage with their programme.

Who it’s for: 

You must be a 'Home' or ‘EU’ student. You must be a current or alumni student. You must have recently completed a UoSiL undergraduate programme within the last 6 months of the date of your postgraduate application or be a current UoSiL undergraduate student.

The following full-time postgraduate courses in academic year 2019/20 or 2020/21 are eligible. Undergraduate courses are not eligible for this scholarship.

GET THERE SCHOLARSHIP

What it is:
£400 worth of travel throughout the TFL system through an allocated Oyster card.

Who it’s for: 

All new full-time UK and EU undergraduate students joining the University of Sunderland in London in 2018/9.

Who it's for:
Any full or part-time student studying at the University of Sunderland

What it is:
Up to £2,000

Who it's for:
Any penultimate year full-time student, studying with the University of Sunderland, who is considered, by their board of study, to be on track for a first-class honours degree.
