The course will cover:

  • The digital landscape: An introduction to digital marketing

  • Search Engine Optimisation (SEO); Pay Per Click (PPC)

  • Email and mobile marketing

  • Social media marketing: Strategy, content, research, blogging

  • Key channels: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Google+, YouTube, Pinterest

  • Google Analytics and AdWords

  • Facebook Insights and other social media analytics

Aims and requirements

The course is aimed at anyone interested in a career in marketing, those planning to start their own business, or students who have a passion for learning about digital and social media.

It's appropriate for beginner or intermediate level students. If you're already competent in digital media marketing this is not the right course for you.  

The course is free and open to all students on all courses. We ask that you fully commit to the eight-week course and make every effort to attend each session.
