Digital Coach Sabrina Ferrazza

Former University of Sunderland in London student and Digital Coach, Sabrina Ferrazza, has landed an impressive first post-university role at Lloyds of London.

Sabrina, who completed her MBA earlier this year and will receive her degree at the university’s next graduation ceremony, is working as a Settlement Processing Associate having started her new position with the insurance and reinsurance marketplace at the end of September.

"I’m really happy and excited to see where this will take me in my career. I was nervous in the first few days, but I now feel really comfortable and get on with my new colleagues really well.”

Sabrina’s link to the University of Sunderland in London is not just that of a graduate and former employee as she is also daughter of postgraduate business lecturer Alessandro Ferrazza – recent winner of Most Digitally Innovative Teacher at the Student Nominated Teaching Awards.

He said: “As a parent, obviously, I’m uber excited. First job, Lloyds of London – not too bad at all!

“I think one of the things that really made it possible for her to get this job was her ability to interact with a lot of people here. The Digital Coach position really helped.”

He added: “She will get a distinction on her MBA, which is an incredible achievement.”

Sabrina is just the latest in a long line of University of Sunderland in London students from our MBA programme who’ve used their degree to land a notable position. We will follow her progress keenly and wish her all the best for her career.
