Ihave a passion for exploring new teaching approaches for engaging students.
I created a teaching method for Events, Fashion and Entertainment Studies aimed at increasing student engagement in their education.

I explore the impact of teaching on students’ learning, the influence of a positive mindset in events studies and careers, the training of events managers, especially for fashion and beauty events, and how to motivate and inspire students to achieve the most.

I have a wide multidisciplinary background, with degrees including professional studies in Events Management, Fashion Marketing, Fashion Design, Model Management, as well my academic studies including an MA in Management, BSc (Hons) in Computer Science, PGCert in Mental Health, PGCert in Higher Education, and an MRes in History with a focus Education.

I studied at Middlesex University, the University of Portsmouth, the University of Plymouth, University of Arts, London College of Fashion and Royal Holloway, University of London.

I am a member of the Association of Events Management Education and Exec Board elected Member, Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, external examiner in British Irish Institute of Music, Convenor of the Learning Bridges, Member of the British Arts Festivals Association, Member of the Institute of Events Management and reviewer for USA Publishers on Events, Fashion and Fashion Events topics.
