UOSIL Staff

This page is all about your Personal Academic Tutors (PATs) here, in the London campus. You will meet us for the first time during the Welcome Week. Then we will meet during the academic year to discuss about your academic journey. It is a great opportunity to reflect on your development. You are always welcome when you feel you would like to talk to us.

Find out below how we can support you during your studies at UoSiL.

Digital Learning and Digital Coaches

Digital Coaches

The Digital Learning team delivers workshops and courses that can help current students to enhance their digital literacy skills. Through our offer, you can assess and practice your skills and even obtain certifications such as the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS). Additionally, we provide support through our trained team of Digital Coaches who are available to assist both staff and students.

Contact us at digital-learning.london@sunderland.ac.uk or visit SharePoint if you're a current student.

English for Academic Purposes (EAP)

We run a range of English for Academic Purposes (EAP) and English for Business Studies (EBS) courses to support you alongside your main degree. Most are designed for students who speak English as a foreign language, but there are options for native speakers too. Courses take place during term time and focus on building your academic and language skills so you can feel more confident in your studies.

You can find out more, including how to apply on our Library website.
