Course summary
We equip our students with a deep understanding of welfare structures and processes within integrated health and social care. Our course offers advanced theoretical knowledge and practical skills essential for managing the health and social care sector. It emphasises multi-agency approaches, aligning with current government initiatives.
Students will complete at least one placement, gaining valuable real-world experience. Graduates are prepared for further professional training or postgraduate study, supported by Subject Benchmark Statements in Health Studies, Social Policy, and Social Work, and aligned with the QAA and University assessment strategies.

Undertake an independent research project on a topic of your choice within health and social care or social science. Apply your understanding of research methodologies, relevant theory, and literature to critically explore your chosen area. This module develops your skills in research design, data analysis, and academic writing, preparing you for advanced study or professional practice.
