MSc Fintech academic staff training

As the University prepares to launch its new MSc in Financial Technology (FinTech) and Trading programme, a group of academic staff have completed a bespoke training programme delivered by external provider, CityLit. The training was designed to support staff in building the technical knowledge and practical skills needed to deliver the upcoming postgraduate programme.

The MSc FinTech and Trading programme has been developed in response to growing industry demand for graduates with a solid foundation in financial principles, programming, data analytics, and innovative technologies such as artificial intelligence and blockchain. To support this, the training programme focused on practical applications and covered a wide range of topics aligned with the programme’s content.

The first intake of the MSc FinTech and Trading starts on 24 April, with an expected cohort of around 20 students. The launch reflects the University’s continued commitment to evolving its academic provision in line with emerging industry needs.
