Interdisciplinary Networks: Interdisciplinary Research for Solving the Major Challenges of Today

Interdisciplinary networks connect research questions, methodologies and practices to create a bridge across our departments. They link our researchers together, giving them the chance to work collaboratively on real-world issues.

The networks give researchers the chance to work together on topics which complement their areas of interest to create a diverse, vibrant and supportive research culture. We're constantly creating relationships with experts and organisations both within the University and in the wider world, cutting across disciplines and subject areas.

Each interdisciplinary network conducts research that will affect the real-world, from gender and race to health and care issues. Our interdisciplinary networks are responsible for research events and activities, they produce industry-leading research and provide a community for our staff and partners.
