The University of Sunderland in London recently announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the prestigious Mulberry Schools Trust, recognising the growing collaboration between the successful institutions, both based in East London.

Over the last four years, the University has grown its partnership with the Trust, which operates eight schools educating 1000s of students. This has included the university hosting higher education ‘taster days’ and attending careers fairs at the Trust’s schools – showcasing the opportunities the University offers as the students take the next step in their personal and professional development.

With the memorandum agreed, the partnership between the institutions is set to expand, with a formalised set of higher education engagement activities and the university further supporting the Trust’s students. Aligning closely with the University’s strategic aim of widening participation and creating life-changing educational opportunities.
