Autumn graduation highlights 2023

We close 2023 with our autumn graduation ceremony! We are proud to celebrate University of Sunderland in London graduates, their personal achievements and journey in world of higher education.

Over the course of two days, our graduates celebrated the culmination of years of hard work, dedication, and growth. Graduation ceremonies are often filled with mixed emotions - joy and nostalgia blend together as students bid farewell to familiar surroundings while embracing new beginnings. It's a bittersweet moment that marks both an end and a new chapter in life.

As our graduates walk across the stage to receive their well-deserved diplomas, they embark on exciting journeys ahead – whether pursuing further education or stepping into careers they have worked so hard for during their time at university. This was their time where dreams become reality and their friendships are solidified.

We take pride in celebrating our graduating class of 2023, knowing that each individual has been equipped with valuable skills and knowledge that will help shape our world positively. We look forward to witnessing our next graduands for 2024. Let us remember that graduation isn't an ending; it signifies new beginnings!

Day 1 - 8th November 2023

Our graduates file into Southwark Cathedral in London where they are surrounded by an atmosphere charged with excitement and anticipation. Family members, friends, lecturers, and staff cheer from the audience as their names are called out – celebrating their life-changing individual accomplishments and acknowledging the collective journey taken by all.

"As you step into the next chapter of your lives, remember that every ending is the beginning of something new and extraordinary. Your degree certificate is simply a piece of paper, it is your education and your attitude that will prepare you for the challenges and joys that lie ahead. Deliberately seek out and embrace the unknown with courage, for it is within that uncertainty that you'll discover your true potential. Congratulations, graduates of 2023, your future has yet to be written by you."
