Research

My research interests include theoretical and pedagogical practices in EAP and ESAP course design, genre-based approaches to material development, academic literacy instruction, and teacher education and training.

In recent projects, I have been embedding subject-specific EAP provision in degree programmes and adapting modules to online and hybrid teaching delivery. I am also interested in digital education, in particular, the use of Instructional Design and Storyboarding in creating and developing asynchronous and synchronous In-sessional ESAP support.
