Each year almost half a million international students come to study in the UK to gain the skills needed in today’s global workforce. UK Universities and cities are diverse and welcoming to international students.
The British teaching and learning style may be different to the style you are used to, but there are many support systems in place to help you settle in and flourish in your studies.
Studying in a new country can be exciting, but there may be occasions when you feel overwhelmed, homesick, or stressed. Our confidential Health and Wellbeing Service can offer support on all aspects of health and emotional wellbeing.
You will need a strong command of the English language to make the most out of your time in the UK. As well as our English for Academic Purposes courses, we also provide English for Academic Purposes (EAP) in-sessional classes. These involve classes, lectures, tutorials and drop-in sessions to further develop your language skills and confidence.
The UK is a fantastic place for international students and here at the University of Sunderland in London we have all the facilities, expertise and advice you need to excel in your studies and future career.
