The Gateway

The Gateway offers advice and information on any aspect of life at the University. They help with anything from financial advice and welfare to visa issues and accommodation.

COVID-19 Guidance

All of our services can be accessed via telephone, email, Teams, Compass and Canvas. Our core services are available from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Due to COVID-19 and current government legislation, our building is closed until further notice. However, all of our services remain open and are currently being delivered online only.

Gateway drop-in

The Gateway is located on the fourth floor of the University of Sunderland in London. When you first arrive, speak to reception who will give you a visitor pass and direct you. Help and advice are available on a drop-in basis.
