Career planning and preparation

Understanding that every student's journey is unique, our dedicated Careers Services offer tailored support to all current students and alumni for up to three years after graduation. Whether you are seeking guidance on career planning, CV refinement, job interview preparation, or simply have questions about your professional path, our team of expert careers advisors is here to assist you.

For easy access to appointments and services, we invite you to utilise the intuitive Career Lab platform. This innovative employability hub serves as your gateway to valuable career-related resources. We also offer exclusive Assessment Centre Support Programmes, employer insight days, and professional mentoring opportunities. To stay competitive, continuous learning is essential. We offer a wide range of free short courses in various fields, designed to help individuals develop new skills, advance their careers, or pursue personal interests. The free short courses offered are: 

  • Project Management (8 Weeks) 
  • Introduction to Management (1 Day) 
  • Website Design with Squarespace or WordPress (6 Weeks) 
  • Business Finance Simulation (Half-day) 
  • Sim Venture Business Simulation (6 Weeks) 
  • Digital Media Marketing (8 Weeks) 
  • Introduction to HR (1 Day) 

Upon completion, you will receive a certificate that can add a valuable edge to your professional profile. These courses not only enhance your skill set but also demonstrate your commitment to ongoing growth and development.
