There is a lot of advice and guidance out there for students thinking about starting their careers after university. The Careers and Employability team at the University of Sunderland in London take you through some of the best.
We know these are not easy times to graduate or look for internships, but there are still opportunities out there.
All current students and alumni have access to the Careers and Employability Service for up to three years after you graduate.

What should I do?
What career path to take is often a difficult choice. Sometimes we just don’t know the kinds of opportunities that are out there. What are your skills and values? What kind of work will make you happy? Below are some resources to help you explore these issues:
Graduate jobs and internships
If you’re interested in applying for a graduate role, you should know that the application process can start as early as September for jobs starting the following summer. Start looking early for opportunities. You can find opportunities at:
CV writing, cover letter and application forms
Once you start looking for an internship or graduate role, you will need to upgrade your CV to a more professional looking document specific to the job you’re applying for. You can find guidance here:
