One thing we’ve all had to become used to pretty quickly over the last year is working, studying and communicating online for many parts of our lives.  

Of course, as University of Sunderland in London students, you’ve done incredible work adapting to online lectures.  

But did you know that there are hundreds of fascinating online events, talks, seminars, classes and more each month on practically any subject you can think of?  

Start the new year off right with a few of our favourites for you to enjoy - ranging from tips for launching your own business to grabbing a few minutes of wellness.  

 

Intro to coding 

When: Saturday 9th January 1pm – 3:30pm

Ever wanted to find out how to make amazing webpages or addictive apps? CodeYourFuture is a specialist coding school aimed at people who may not have the money for expensive coding courses. 

This talk is for anyone who might not have the time or resources to follow the traditional path of learning to code.

Marketing Mondays 

When: Monday, 11th January, 1pm - 2pm

Responding to the ever-changing world of Cyber Crime

Nigel will discuss these threats and what we can do to tackle them.

Live Chat with former Netflix Senior Product Manager

Wellness Wednesday

If the last year has taught us anything, it’s that we all need to look after ourselves 

Talbott Recovery presents a monthly hour of education around the different components of health and wellbeing including social and emotional health. 

This session will be focused on improving our physical health, looking at the role nutrition and exercise play in keeping our bodies in top shape.
