We care scholarship

What it is

£2,000 cash scholarship for each year of study (excluding placement year and Study Abroad year) for care experienced or family estranged students.

Who it’s for

For full-time home undergraduate and postgraduate students under the age of 25 on 1 September 2021.

Senior scholarship 2021 and 2022

What it is

The Senior Scholarship awards students a full tuition fee waiver for the first year of their postgraduate programme at the University of Sunderland in London.

The aim of the scholarship is to lessen the financial burden for students who are not eligible to claim funding from Student Finance England which will allow them to concentrate on their studies and fully engage with their programme.

Who it’s for

You must be a current or recent graduate UK/EU student studying for a postgraduate degree with us. If you are an alumnus, you must have completed a graduate programme at the University within six months of your postgraduate application. This scholarship is not available for use on an undergraduate course.

University of Sunderland in London Bursaries 2021/22

We offer generous bursaries to home, fee-paying, full-time undergraduate students, who are studying eligible courses. Our priority for bursaries are students from groups underrepresented in higher education, these include: Gypsy, Traveller, Roma, Showpeople and Boaters; Asylum seekers or refugees; carers; students from lower-income households; and mature students.
