Health and Wellbeing

We take our students' health and wellbeing seriously. We know, as you do, that students need to be healthy and happy in order to fulfil their potential and maximise their chances of getting that dream job.

Overview

The Health and Wellbeing Team at the University of Sunderland in London is here to provide support to students experiencing a range of mental health and wellbeing concerns that may be impacting them academically and personally. Our team is comprised of a Wellbeing Adviser, Disability Support Adviser, Mental Health Adviser, Student Finance Adviser, and International Student Support Adviser.

Our team of highly skilled and empathetic professionals are dedicated to supporting students throughout their academic journey, from the moment they apply to the day they graduate.

Health and Wellbeing services are free and confidential –meaning the information you share with an adviser on the team will not be shared without student consent or in the instance of academic necessity or a medical/mental health emergency.

Services are available Monday to Friday, 10AM-4PM either on-campus or via Teams.
