The CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Study) is a formal agreement between yourself and the University that you will study with us and we will sponsor you for the Student visa.
A Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies is a formal agreement between yourself and the University of Sunderland in London. It confirms that the University of Sunderland in London is your chosen institution and that we agree to sponsor your Student visa.
To be eligible to apply for a Student visa you must obtain a CAS letter, this is provided to you by the University of Sunderland in London once you have met the Home Office criteria. Once you receive an unconditional offer from the University you will be required to submit a CAS request form. This ensures that all of your personal details such as your passport number and the spelling of your name are correct.
Once you have your CAS number you can apply for your Student visa. If you have any questions, please contact our Student Admissions team at admissions-london@sunderland.ac.uk.
Our Admissions team need to receive your CAS request form and payment in before the last date of CAS issuance.
