The Race, Class and Ethnicity (RaCE) interdisciplinary research network

The Race, Class and Ethnicity (RaCE) Interdisciplinary Research Network was launched in October 2018. It was created as a response to the current and historic realities woven into the lived experiences of race, class, and ethnicity in our everyday lives.

RaCE Research Projects

The RaCE network has just finished a research project looking at the experiences of black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) students at the University's campuses in Sunderland and London.

A survey was sent to all students who self-identified as BAME and we would like to thank everyone at both campuses who took the time to complete the survey – we really appreciated your honest and open responses.

We will be sharing our findings with you all very soon – watch out for more information.
