“I’m coming up to my graduation and I couldn’t be happier with how it’s all gone. In fact, I’m already continuing at the University, studying for my MBA in Human Resource Management.
I started my further education with a two-year Higher National Diploma in Business Management. It was the beginning of a hard path – I’ve been juggling work at the same time as studying for my degrees, so it’s taken a lot of focus and dedication.
But it’s going to be worth it. I have a dream to open my own career and recruitment agency, to help people find their own work paths. The BA has helped me become an independent person and given me the tools I’ll need to achieve that goal.
A friend who was studying here at the time recommended the University of Sunderland in London to me. I’d heard about how well the students are supported. I knew it was a close community where the academics and staff help not just academically but emotionally as well.
It’s all true. I’ve never felt alone whilst I’ve been studying here. It’s made the experience so much more enjoyable. You can get loads of help with assignments and personal issues plus guidance with your finances too.
I found the course very interesting and informative. The lecturers are all so knowledgeable. I enjoyed learning about different theories associated with business strategies and how they can be applied to a company to help it grow and become successful.
I was so excited to get a First. It meant I could study for the MBA in Human Resource Management. Once I’ve completed the MBA I want to put my vision and passion into practice and open my own agency.
My undergraduate course will definitely help me develop those plans. What I’ve learnt over the last three years has given me the blueprints to start building my business. The MBA is giving me the tools to take that even further and make a success of it.
I’m really excited to graduate. It’s the icing on the cake, a reward for all the hard work and dedication I’ve put into my studies.
If anyone is thinking about studying at the University, I would just say, do it! Follow your dream! The University of Sunderland in London has such a warm, friendly atmosphere. You’ll find a relaxed, supportive environment that will bring you closer to realising your dreams. I know I did!”
