Course summary
This Master’s degree programme is designed to support Nursing students to develop their career in Nursing. The programme places a particular emphasis on exploring knowledge and skills relevant to nursing in a wide range of clinical settings, and is particularly designed for overseas nurses to develop and enhance their knowledge and skills as a practitioner and their wider understanding of nursing professional/clinical practice in other countries, including the UK.
Through the development of their critical thinking and academic writing it aims to support them using these transferable skills should any internationally trained nurses wish to undertake the independent process to apply for registration in the UK. The modules are also designed to equip each student to engage in the processes of critical self-evaluation and actively engage in life-long learning which are central to effective health care professionals.
