Register your interestThis 8-week in-person course is for people with a 5.5 IELTS score (or equivalent). If your English is lower, take a look at the Pre-Intermediate or Intermediate programmes.
You'll improve your English, learning academic skills like listening, note-taking, reading, summarising, writing essays and reports, doing research and making presentations. You'll finish the course with an English level at the University's equivalent of a 6.0 IELTS score.

In the course, you'll use our Virtual Learning Environment, Canvas, to attend live weekly virtual sessions, helping you practice your English with your teacher and classmates.
Plus, you'll study outside the classroom using our extracurricular material, and get feedback on your work. When you complete the course, you'll have a Foundation Certificate of Achievement in English for Academic Purposes and the English skills to study your chosen degree.
