"I found the application process really straightforward. I applied through an agent in China, who recommended the University of Sunderland in London. I love London, it’s so beautiful. My biggest concern about studying in the UK was the language barrier.

I had no English lessons before I came here and I was worried about studying a complex subject in a foreign language. But the University answered my concerns by offering me an English language course alongside my accounting studies.

I love the fact that I can start my course quickly, as there are four intakes every year. The staff were super friendly through the whole enrolment process. I already feel really welcome in the UK and a valued part of the University."
