As a single mum, the University allows me to study and have time for my little girl.

"I’m a single mum with a little girl aged three. She’s always my first priority so it’s important for me to be able to concentrate on my studies when I’m here and then have enough time for her too. The University allows me to do this and I always say that I’m extremely lucky to have found it.

Not only is it exactly the right course for me it’s also in the perfect location. I live in Lewisham so it’s only a short ride away on the DLR. That’s invaluable when I need to look after my little girl after class. When I applied I was really focused on completing everything myself to prove that I could do it. But when I did need help I spoke directly to the University and they were brilliant.

I’m a big fan of the University, especially the staff. They’ve been so welcoming that they’ve actually inspired me to want to work in student recruitment one day. I’ve actually started already because I’m enjoying it so much I’m recommending the University to all my friends!"
