Register your interestIn this course, you’ll explore key industry topics, including the latest trends and practices in customer experience management. Guest lectures from industry professionals within the University’s global network will offer you firsthand insights and networking opportunities.
Your learning will involve classroom lectures, field trips, company visits, and challenges like the Santander Enterprise Challenge. Innovative methods like Virtual and Augmented Reality will enhance your understanding of global tourism.

You'll be taught through both face-to-face teaching and self-study, using your own work experiences and theory to apply academic thought to real-world examples.
To help you become independent researchers, you'll have access to our Library and training on a range of digital platforms, giving you the transferable skills top employers are looking for. You'll work on your own and in groups to understand and critique the main ideas in tourism and events theory.
The course is marked through group presentations, written course work, examinations, and oral and visual presentations like academic posters and feedback will be given to help you improve.

With this degree, you could work for hotels, airlines, travel agencies, events organisers, heritage attractions, Local Authorities and other public sector bodies.
