The University of Sunderland in London works with Higher Education providers, Local Authorities and charities across the country to help care experienced young people achieve and make sure they are supported throughout their university experience.
Through the University of Sunderland, we are a part of the Northern Care Leaver Activities and Student Support (North CLASS), a network of institutions across the north of England working to support care experienced young people.
We are also members of the National Network for the Education of Care Leavers (NNECL). They promote opportunities to explore Higher Education, provide resources to support care experienced young people and work with organisations across the country to improve the support and guidance available.
