It’s an opportunity for me to take my experience I already have as a registered nurse to the next level.

With modules like Leadership and Management in Health, I’m getting the chance to do exactly that.

Everything I’m learning is directly related to the needs of the NHS and other healthcare institutions.

That gives me a lot of confidence my knowledge will be useful when it comes to applying for jobs.

I’ve had the ambition to go into higher education since I came to this country, but I wanted to make sure I chose the right institution for me.

That’s why I did so much research before deciding on the University of Sunderland in London.

I knew a postgraduate degree would be challenging, so I wanted to make sure I found a place that showed me how nursing is being practiced around the world.

That’s what I found here, and so much more. I feel like, with everything I’m learning, I’ll be able to give back to society, improve my academic standing and contribute to my field.

One thing I couldn’t have predicted was that I’d be doing my degree under COVID-19.

It’s been a challenge, not being able to access the building or its facilities – I can’t wait to use the library and the teaching rooms.

I’ve learned to adapt my home for remote learning, and I think I’m getting along quite well.

But I’m excited for the day I can walk through those doors and interact with my classmate and lecturers.

I would, absolutely, recommend the University of Sunderland in London. The teaching methods are brilliant, the lecturers are so supportive of the students and the remote facilities have been fantastic."
