The Dance Society aims to open up the exciting world of dance to everyone, even if you think it’s not your thing. They take part in major events including the International Cultural Festival, induction and the end-of-year and Christmas parties.

As a member of the Dance Society, you’ll be part of a close-knit, supportive and friendly group. Throughout the year, you’ll be invited to a wide range of events and activities including:

Free dance classes taught by voluntary student teachers
Free external dance classes
Member-only socials and parties

Over the summer, the society will be attending Dance Fever classes organised by Canary Wharf Arts and Events.

Sail to Sunderland

Students Lal Krishna and Alexandra Bratu jumped at the opportunity to sail from Canary Wharf to Sunderland for the Tall Ships celebration in July 2018. The epic journey saw them spend nine days aboard the Atyla, a two-masted wooden schooner, alongside an international crew.
