Personal Academic Tutor (PAT)
In 2017, I embarked on the academic career as a lecturer at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (Vietnam). In 2022, I joined the University of Sunderland in London as a Personal Academic Tutor (PAT), for students specialising in MSc Finance and Management, BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance, and BA (Hons) Accounting and Financial Management. With a passion for fostering academic excellence, my aim is to empower undergraduate and postgraduate students in the realm of Accounting and Finance, guiding them toward realising their utmost potential. Drawing upon a wealth of teaching experience and academic expertise, I provide tailored educational and holistic support to address the unique needs of each student.
In terms of academic background, I hold a Ph.D. in Finance from Newcastle University and an MSc in Finance from Bangor University.
Research
- My research interest encompasses a wide spectrum of Finance, encompassing Corporate Finance, Financial Management, Financial Markets, Derivatives and Cryptocurrencies. At present, my research focal point centres on delving into the intricacies of motives and performance within Mergers and Acquisitions.
