Lecturer (UG Nursing)

I am an enthusiastic and dedicated Lecturer, deeply committed to shaping students' futures through innovative teaching and research initiatives. I place a strong emphasis on diversity, equality, and inclusion, and am focused on fostering student success by promoting critical thinking. Currently, I serve as a Band 6 Nurse in the Critical Care Unit at Southend Hospital. My nursing career began in 2010, specializing in critical care. Over the years, I have embraced various roles, including staff nurse, clinical educator, and preceptor.

I pursued a Master's in Adult Nursing with a specialization in Critical Care, which significantly enhanced my knowledge and skills. Additionally, completing a critical care course at the University of East Anglia further developed my critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving abilities in both academic and clinical settings. I am known for my collaborative approach to planning care, effective communication skills, and ability to manage complex problems using critical thinking based on scientific knowledge. My experience also extends to research in the nursing field.

One of my greatest virtues is my passion for learning and teaching, which continues to drive my professional journey.
