Senior Personal Academic Tutor (PAT)
I am passionate about education, and I strongly believe that it can change in better individuals and the world. Currently, I am Senior Personal Academic Tutor (PAT) at the University of Sunderland in London, supporting the hospitality and tourism management students, both undergraduate and postgraduate level. I have 10 years’ experience in the UK higher education, teaching tourism, hospitality and business-related modules, and leading teams in various institutions.
The support I offer to students and colleagues is rooted in industry leadership experience, and academic studies in the UK and abroad. Currently, I pursue PhD studies with Lancaster University, and I hold an MA in Education Leadership and Management from the University of Roehampton, an MA in Management of Tourist Resources and Activities and BA in Geography from the University of Bucharest. In addition, I completed a level 5 teaching qualification.
