Lecturer (Project Management)

I am a dedicated practitioner and lecturer within the School of Engineering at the University of Sunderland in London. My Doctorate of Philosophy thesis and research delve into the potential for workers and managers in organisations to use improvisation as a tool to challenge inefficient bureaucratic routines. This approach aims to decentralise and redistribute decision-making, fostering innovative change. I hold a Masters of Arts in Arts Policy & Management from the University of London.

As an Associate tutor at Warwick Business School, I have had the privilege of teaching international project management at the master's level across various UK universities, in addition to supervising master's dissertations. My professional journey includes several years as an International Senior Project & Programme Manager, where I worked across London, the United States, the Middle East, and Europe. I am also a SAP Certified Consultant and Prince 2 Certified.

My academic contributions include a paper presented at the Doctoral Colloquium of the EURAM (European Academy of Management) International Conference in Dublin in December 2020. I have also shared my insights on project management through keynote speeches and guest lectures at prestigious institutions and conferences, including Warwick University, Hertford Business School, UCL (University College London), the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, Somerset House in London, and UWL.
